Lost Self

Deep you are drowned
Making no sound
Missing you are
Your reach seems beyond

Your absence turns rope to snake
Illusion it is but never appears fake
For, with your light clarity you've taken
Shallowness galore, identities mistaken

In colourful illusions is my flight
Later I land in a miserable plight
And in vain I search for you
There you appear like a bolt from blue

But, you're just an awareness
Drawing disturbances to stillness
Immensity of "I don't know" you consist
With the quest of "Who am I?" you persist.
